City solicits ideas on Memorial Drive revamp

Memorial Drive Revamp Concept

The city is still accepting input on reconstructing Memorial Drive. You can provide feedback on the current redesign of Memorial Drive. Here are three pathways for that process:

  • Attend the next Bike-Ped mtg at 1530 on Thurs, Aug. 27th at the BMPO office at 1810 W. Broadway.
  • Email rmagee@ci.idaho-falls.id.us with your ideas/opinions.
  • Ak us to communicate your ideas to the committee. Email us at IFCommunityPathways@gmail.com.

Comments should only address the reconstruction of Memorial Drive, not what amenities should be added to a new gathering place.

IFCP at Snake River Roaring Youth Jam

IFCP had a great time providing valet bike parking at the Snake River Roaring Youth Jam (SRRYJ) 8/6 - 8/8. Using racks provided by the City, IFCP maintained a large bike check-in check-out for SRRYJ participants. To add an alternative transportation art project theme to the jam, IFCP also provided a bike-parts equipped T-shirt painting table for free, and for those that biked or walked to the Jam, IFCP even provided a free T-shirt.
